Unattended Death Cleanup
Unattended deaths are becoming more common do to the vast number of people living alone. Discovering the death of a loved one or tenant is still very traumatic. Family emotions will go from shock to sadness and possibly guilt. This is a very hard situation to face alone. My staff and I will be there for you in your time of need. In most unattended or accidental death cases, the family member, friend or tenant has not been discovered for an extended period of time. First responders will encounter a foul odor and body fluids due to natural decomposition and possibly blood if the decedent received lacerations from a fall. Not long after death, bodily fluids begin to attract bacteria, mold, and insects. And, exposure to the scene can leave everyone accessible to blood borne pathogens along with a variety of health issues.
Site remediation should begin as soon as possible to prevent the spread of potentially life threatening bacteria and viruses. (Viruses can live up to several weeks in dried blood.) My staff and I will help you move forward in a safe and legal manner.
